1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the website of the Bishkek Manas Institute of Fine Arts (BMIFA) or utilizing our student application portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws of the Kyrgyz Republic. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using our online portal.
2. Admissions & Applications
When applying to BMIFA via our admissions system, you agree to:
- Provide authentic, accurate, and complete information, documents, and transcripts.
- Submit creative portfolios representing solely your own original artwork. Plagiarism or misattribution will result in immediate disqualification and reporting to educational oversight registries.
- Acknowledge that submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment; final decisions rest solely with the BMIFA Admissions Panel.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
We highly value artistic intellectual property:
Student Artwork: All paintings, sculptures, graphic designs, crafts, and music compositions created by students during their study remain the copyright of the respective students. However, by enrolling, students grant BMIFA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to photograph, display, and distribute reproductions of student works for academic promotion, exhibition catalogs, and institutional archives.
Institutional Content: The text, logos, custom CSS styling, design layouts, and code on this website are owned by BMIFA and are protected by copyrights and database rights.
4. Tuition & Fee Payments
All tuition rates, dorm room payments, and lab fees are regulated under the non-profit framework of the Ministry of Education & Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Fees must be cleared in local currency (KGS) or equivalent bank transfer by the published semester deadlines. Detailed refund policies for withdrawals are managed by the registrar office and vary depending on the week of semester instruction.
Governing Law
These terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
